Yes I do believe its gender neutral. Because I myself am a Woman an I suffer from PTSD. It's a daily battle mentally to try and decipher through simple life activities and yet appear normal to the others

Absolutely. I'm not really sure why anyone would think that women would NOT be susceptible to PTSD. PTSD isn't strictly caused from combat related experiences and even if it was, there are females who have been in combat. PTSD can also occur as a result of sexual trauma and statistics have shown that 1 out of 4 females in the military have experienced sexual trauma in conjunction to 1 in 100 males in the military who have experienced sexual trauma. So yes, women can most certainly have PTSD and anyone who believes otherwise, in my opinion, needs a reality check.
